Joel Wilks

I retained Joel Wilks for legal representation and, unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. Throughout my case, communication was inconsistent and often delayed. Important follow-ups required repeated requests, and I did not feel adequately informed or supported as a client. Deadl...ines and expectations were unclear, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Much of my interaction was with paralegal Kelsey LeBlanc. In my experience, responses were slow, explanations were limited, and requests for my client file and basic information took far longer than expected. I repeatedly had to follow up to receive materials that should have been provided promptly. Ultimately, I did not feel that my interests were properly prioritized or that I received the level of representation and professionalism I expected. Based on my personal experience, I would not choose this firm again and would advise others to ask detailed questions about communication, responsiveness, and client file access before retaining them.

One word comes to mind after my experience with the Keith & Lorfing law firm and that is, Family. I went through a difficult time, and I needed an expert defense lawyer on my side to help me navigate the challenges that lay ahead. I believe without a doubt in my mind that God guided me to these ...incredible and non-judgmental people. The vast knowledge that this firm has collectively made me feel like everything would be taken care of quickly and professionally, and I was correct. Their ethos is that everyone should receive a second chance and that was reiterated every time I met with not only the lawyers but their friendly team as well. I would like to thank all of them from the bottom of my heart and one gentleman specifically, Mr. Joel Wilks. His calming demeanor instantly gave me a sense of ease just as any of my friends and family members would have made me feel. Once again, please accept my gratitude towards everyone at Keith & Lorfing for their gracious efforts towards my second chance.
