During her time at Texas Tech School of Law, Kayla advocated for vulnerable clients through the Criminal Defense Clinic and Criminal Law Association. She gained hands-on experience working on capital murder cases during her internship with the Regional Public Defenders Office — a challenging environment that sharpened her courtroom skills early in her career.
Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, she earned dual degrees in economics and finance from the University of Alabama, giving her strong analytical skills that support her legal work.
