Rude and unprofessional.

This attorney contacted me in what I was told was a CONSULT. I wouldn't have minded paying a consult fee, but this guy wouldn't even go over the case history, refer to our situation, or give us a consult! He refused flat out, giving us any indication on whether or not we had a case, and told us he wi...ll not answer a single question until we pay him $2500 up front and maintain that retainer at 2500 at all times. My gosh, we just needed one question answered and quidance on how to approach that matter before retaining an attorney. He was rude, unprofessional, and unethical. But $2500 JUST to hear yes, we have a case or no case and simply asking whether the wording in a document was written correctly. That was it. My advice, go the little bit of distance and find a reputable attorney who appreciates the opportunity to want to work with you.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
