Biography
Janis Alexander Cross has practiced law in the Texas Panhandle since 1979. She handles a wide range of cases, including family law (divorce, adoptions, child custody, child support, prenuptial agreements), general litigation, criminal law (DWI/DUI, misdemeanors, traffic tickets), wills & probate, and litigation. She is the former head of the Pantex Plant legal department and she taught Business Law and Business Ethics at West Texas A&M University. Her son is a practicing attorney in Amarillo, Texas and her daughter is pacticing law in a foreigh country. Her legal assistant has been with Janis for more than ten years. Janis' office is located in the Chase Tower, located at 600 South Tyler Street in downtown Amarillo, Texas.
