also known as Troy Bollinger
I began practicing law in 2000 after a career change from the Tech industry. A lifelong resident of Harris County, my primary focus in Houston was a successful Criminal Law Practice. Troy's first opportunity in the Criminal Justice system came after joining the District Attorney's Office in Harris County; the busiest prosecuting office in the State of Texas. While at the Harris County District Attorney’s office I managed both a misdemeanor and felony docket caseload in addition to doing two stints in the Juvenile Justice system. Then, following the birth of my son, I left the DA’s office to spend more time with the family. In practice as a solo practitioner, I try to focus on protecting individuals and their families. It was my goal and his passion to protect the rights of the people when he started his practice and it remains a fire in the belly to this day.
I look forward to bringing hard-won skills and experience in the trenches of the demanding and busy load of Harris County to the people of Hale and surrounding counties. Twelve years of ‘lawyering’ in the bustling big city makes me truly appreciate the friendlier and open community of a small town. My beautiful bride, wonderful son, and I are setting down roots in Plainview and look forward to becoming a part of the community.
Let me help you through your difficult times. I am eager to be of assistance.

Even As a Court Appointed Attorney, Troy Bollinger Cared
Troy helped me out of a situation where the State kept saying they were waiting on my blood test and that the test was lost. As long as my blood test was "missing" I was to stay sentenced as accused. He would have had the case dismissed if he could have, but he knew the Judge was not going to allo...

excellent
I would recomend him to anyone in need of a defence lawyer. Mr. Bollinger gave me comfort in a time when it was most needed and actually listened to what I had to say. Very respectful and professional!
