Terrible service

I first contacted and met with Mr Morris in August 2016. For a $2500 retainer he agreed to assist me with corporate books and an Asset Purchase and Lease agreements. He did prepare the documents for signature by the agreed-upon timeframe. However, getting the signed documents, my corporate book, and ...any type of accounting for my retainer fee has been a 6-month-long ordeal. Numerous phone calls and emails went unanswered; visits to his office were not productive nor did they result in his attempting to contact me on getting these. They finally sent me some of the signed documents and the corporate books 5 months later, but two of the signed documents are still missing. Six months after the completion of the work, I finally received a vague, slapped-together "invoice" (not the actual accounting that I asked for) which bills me for an additional $273. And they claim they "no longer have" the two missing signed documents.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I had the privilege of working with Mr. Morris on a complicated divorce matter involving significant assets and significant back tax problems for the parties. His expertise relating to tax (and just general litigation) was invaluable. I would highly recommend Mr. Morris should any individual or business have the need for his expertise or just needing an excellent lawyer."
