Amy is wonderful
Amy was SO helpful to us working through a our very first contract with PBS. We had absolutely no idea how to navigate it and were total newbies. She's easy to talk to and communicative.

Client for 10 years and beyond!
We have worked with Amy Mitchell for almost 10 years and she has been vital in our business -- growing it, building it, and protecting it. She is highly respected in the Austin community and her reputation is stellar amongst other lawyers and a variety of clients. We are so grateful that she sees us...

Rude!
I never leave reviews but this was by far one of the worse business experiences of my life. I will never use Amy again and I hope others don’t waste money on someone who has such disdain for their clients. Almost every email I received was purposely rude. She managed to make an already stressful and ...
As I have said directly and in response to your other negative posts online, I apologize that my boundary-setting came across as rude. That was certainly not my intention. Having received only positive feedback from you during my very brief representation (one week) and being told that you needed to stop the representation due to cost (I billed approximately 2 hours after a courtesy discount), I was truly stunned by your online reviews. I pride myself on being open and honest with clients (including prospective clients) about my limited availability, which has been even more limited during the pandemic. You hired me for a single contract and expected a simple once-over. When the contract turned out to require substantial revision, I kept you updated on my progress, and I often responded to you outside of regular working hours (nights and weekends) knowing that you were anxious about getting a deal done. Nevertheless, it's clear that this was not a good fit. To reiterate what I've said elsewhere, I wish you the best of luck in your career and am happy to have a phone conversation to discuss further since my tone was misunderstood via email. Perhaps the lawyer referral I provided to you will work out.
"I have known Amy for many years and always appreciate her advice and guidance. In addition to helping her clients, she is a very involved leader in the entertainment law community."
"Amy is my go-to resource when I have an issue in my Entertainment law practice, and has been since I've graduated law school. She has the sort of wealth of knowledge in her field that can only become manifest with experience, and that's exactly what a client should look for. Not to mention she's professional, kind, meticulous, thorough, and the past chair of the Texas Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the State Bar. A "rock star" attorney for actual rock stars. I whole-heartedly endorse her."
"Amy is the preeminent Entertainment lawyer in Austin. She was the founding member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the Austin Bar Association and she has worked tirelessly to become an expert in all things related to music, film and the arts. She is the leader in her field."
"Amy is one of the most knowledgable, professional, and courteous people in the legal industry, regardless of specialty. I've known Amy a long time and never hesitate to refer matters to her or just seek her advice."
