Biography
Jim Willi focuses on estate planning, elder law, asset protection, and probate. Having been licensed to practice law since 1996, Mr. Willi has extensive experience in wills, trusts, and estates. He has represented clients at all levels of federal courts including District Courts, Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court, and at all levels of Texas courts.
Mr. Willi is licensed to practice law in Texas and Colorado, registered to practice law in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. Mr. Willi is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and the Austin Bar Association. He was recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer by his attorney peers in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Before practicing law, he was an electrical engineer from 1986 to 1996 involved in system operations and planning of electrical power distribution and transmission systems at Houston Lighting & Power Company. Mr. Willi has been a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas since 1990.

Great Service
I had Jim do my NFA Gun Trust and my family Trust. The NFA Trust was all done online and via email from Hawaii. Zero problems with that process. It was so easy to get done I had him to put together a family Trust. Very easy to work with and excellent service.

will and gun trust
Jim did my will and gun trust. It was not cheap but it was painless. Most was done over the phone and the miracle of the internet. He thought i was crazy but he did the will the way i wanted. Very thorough. A good guy (not that kind of lawyer), and i would recommend.

Very thorough and knowledgeable
I had considered the generic NFA Trust package from Silencerco. It was less expensive and provided standardized forms. I choose Mr. Willi because he provided one-on-one consultation and a well prepared NFA Trust package that included better inclusions than the standard forms others offered. He offer...
