Amazing Advocate

My life was put on hold when someone hit the vehicle I was a passenger in head-on. My son was injured (only 16 months old) and I was in the hospital for over six weeks. Chip Evans was referred to me by a CLAIMS ADJUSTER for a major insurance company. She told me that working with him, he was the m...ost honest and hardest working attorney. She set up a time for him to meet me. HE CAME TO MY HOSPITAL BED. I remember Chip updating me about a certain, evil insurance company that did not want to pay a child who nearly lost his mother. I can remember how personally insulted he was by their offer. It was a great feeling, knowing that this attorney was on right there with you. My case became his case and it was personal. What is better than having an attorney who is personally there for you? By your side step-by-step. This process was not easy, but Chip kept me fully informed and advocated on my behalf. I would recommend Chip Evans to anyone who is seeking an advocate, he will make your case his own.

So Grateful

In September 2014, I was in an auto accident where someone struck the back of my vehicle as I was stopped on an exit ramp. It caused my vehicle to spin counter clockwise, strike the back of the vehicle in front of me, and hit the guardrail of the ramp. My vehicle was totaled, and I was taken to the e...mergency room due to pain in my back, shoulder, and neck. I also had multiple bruises across my body. The next several months were difficult for me. I had to visit the hospital several times, as the accident caused me to have a collapsed lung. I also had to receive therapy for my back and shoulder. I attempted to contact the Auto Insurance company of the person who struck me, and settle the hospital bills, etc. on my own. But this was a frustrating process - I was transferred to different representatives with each call, and was informed they couldn't guarantee all expenses would be covered. I then made the decision to reach out to Chip Evans, an attorney I was referred to by the employee assistance program at my place of work. Chip was very helpful and patient with all of my questions, as I wasn't familiar with the entire process. Over the next few months, I was able to let Chip take complete control of my case - he obtained all hospital and doctor bills, remained in contact with the Auto Insurance Company, and always kept me informed. I didn't have to lift a finger - the only thing I had to focus on was my shoulder and back therapy. In March 2015, I received a Settlement check in the mail from Chip. The amount listed gave me great relief - it not only covered the costs of my hospital and doctor bills, but it also gave me more than enough to cover a down payment for a brand new vehicle. While it may sound cheesy, my accident was a tragic experience that caused a great amount of stress, frustration, and difficulty in my life for several months. Chip played a huge part in it, carrying the majority of the weight for me. I know I wouldn’t have received a settlement amount half as much as what Chip was able to get had I attempted to complete this on my own. I honestly *hope* there won’t be a need for me to reach out to Chip again in the future, but I definitely won't hesitate to if necessary. Thanks again, Chip. I can't thank you enough.

Large corporation settlement

My elderly father was knocked over by a negligent employee while shopping at a "large corporation" and as a result, broke his hip. We interviewed a couple lawyers while still at the hospital and did not receive the proper attention deserved. Actually, assistants to the lawyers assistants showed up so... we never met face to face. Chip was recommended by another lawyer that had a conflict of interest in the case. Chip showed up on a Sunday while canceling a sporting event. Took the time to hear my dad through and accepted the case. During the entire process he kept us well informed and kept his commitment. Compared to the other firms, Chip committed about $50k more and in the end, my dad received $50k more (take home, after expenses) than what he would have received with the other lawyers. His experience with medicare along with his knowledge and relationships was key in getting that additional push for higher settlement. I highly recommend his services.

Great Communication

Chip was very helpful from the beginning all the way to the end of my accident settlement. He was not pushy but very informative when I began talking to him to find out if I even needed an attorney after my wreck. He was recommended through the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) from my employer. C...hip was not like other attorneys that were very much "lawyerish" and pushy when it came to their suggestions of what I should do. I was able to reach him anytime I had a question and he kept me informed throughout the entire process.

Our experience with Chip Evans

Chip Evans is the easiest, most communicative, action oriented lawyer in the Austin area. Chip made it extremely easy to reach him, even when on vacation. His professionalism, down to earth non legalese personality was beyond what we could ask for in an attorney. When other attorneys said "NO" Chip ...said "LET'S GO!" Chip represented our son, and the case was by no means a slam dunk. While Chip was officially only representing my son, he made it feel like he was representing our entire family. We are extremely appreciative for Chip's knowledge, confidence and diligent work in getting the job done!
