Eric M. Willie

I hired this attorney to represent me in a contentious family law matter involving my son. He assured me that he could handle my case and deal with a very aggressive opposing attorney. His work was disastrous because Mr. Willie did not do the proper research nor did he seem to make any attempt to... understand what the actual legal situation was for me and my son. The proper paperwork was not filed with the court and Mr. Willie never followed up on efforts to have a mediated agreement enforced. After temporary orders were issued, Mr. Willie would not respond to my requests for information. Instead his communications to me were inappropriate and hostile, and I was forced to hire another attorney. Based on my experience, it is my opinion that Mr. Willie is deceptive and untrustworthy.

I found Eric to be a capable attorney. I was satisfied with how he handled my case and the favorable outcome in what was a fairly contentious and stressful custody/divorce case (to me anyway). If I can offer a tip to anyone hiring an attorney for a divorce or other family law case it's to keep in min...d that an attorney is not a therapist.

I hired Mr. Willie late last year when I was going through a bitter divorce involving my 3 children. I found him to be an excellent lawyer, always extremely prepared, very knowledgeable and compassionate about my situation. The bottom line is he got us into court very quickly, knew exactly how to nav...igate the system and was always courteous. His staff is great too and would always jump in and help if I had a question. Mr. Willie was easy to get on the phone and always returned my phone calls promptly which was important to me. I definitely recommend him to anyone going through a family law matter.
