Biography
I am board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and family law is the only thing I have practiced in more than twenty years.
Most of my work involves the matters that do not resolve on their own. Contested divorces with business interests, closely held entities, and separate property tracing questions. Conservatorship and custody modifications where the circumstances have genuinely changed and the existing order no longer fits the family. Enforcement proceedings after a decree stops working. Temporary orders hearings where the posture of the entire case gets set in a single morning.
I litigate, I mediate, and I am trained in collaborative law. Knowing which of those is the right tool for a particular family, and being candid with a client when the answer is not the one they hoped for, is most of the job. I would rather have a hard conversation about exposure in month one than in a courthouse hallway in month nine.
I represent clients in Travis, Williamson, Hays, and Bexar Counties from my office in Austin.

Thick and Thin
When you choose a person to represent your interests it can be hard deal with deeply emotional issues and make rational decisions. Becca understood us and was very good coach and advocate. Our outcome was better than either of us expected but not less than we deserved. Becca is amazing!!
