Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University School of Law. In law school, Elizabeth focused her studies on criminal law, received the Advocate for Justice Award and had her paper published while on The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Race and Social Justice.
Elizabeth is Partner at the firm Brand & Resendez, PC. She previously worked for the law firm Fagerberg and Brand, which handled both federal and state criminal law cases. Elizabeth has had the opportuity to work in several counties across Texas, and she has handled hundred of cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies.
