Ashley Nicole Morgan

Ashley’s practice areas include Divorce, Child Custody, and Pet Custody. Ashley is an active member of the Texas Humane Legislation Network. Before joining Kirker Davis, Ashley worked as a law clerk with Sommerman, McCaffity & Quesada, LLP in Dallas on personal injury cases, including multidistrict litigation. Ashley also worked as an intern on U Visa and asylum cases at The Nelson Law Firm in Waco.

Ashley graduated from Baylor University School of Law. During law school, Ashley was a finalist in the Mad Dog Dawson Mock Trial Competition and a Quarterfinalist in the Mack Kidd Administrative Law Moot Court Tournament. Ashley was awarded the CourtCall Advocacy Award for her involvement with Baylor’s advocacy programs. Ashley won Third Place in the Ultimate Writer Competition. She was President of the Baylor chapter of Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. She was awarded the Bill Kimble Service Award for her volunteer work with Waco-area animal shelters.

Prior to attending law school, Ashley received her Master of Arts in Communication Studies and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Baylor University, where she graduated with honors. As a graduate student, she received an award for the Top Student Paper in Philosophy and Ethics at the Southern States Communication Association Convention. While pursuing her B.A., Ashley was a Quarterfinalist at the National Debate Tournament. She was also the first female debater from Baylor to be a first-round recipient to compete at the National Debate Tournament and the first female debater from Baylor to be invited to compete at the Kentucky Round Robin.
