Michael Anton Araj

Michael A. Araj is an experienced family law attorney that has nearly a decade’s worth of experience in the courtroom handling custody, visitation, and divorce matters. Michael provides a compassionate and professional approach presenting his clients’ cases in a prepared and persuasive manner.
Michael obtained two Bachelor degrees from the College of William and Mary, one in Government and one in Economics. His unique economic background has informed his divorce law cases. While there, he enjoyed membership in both Phi Alpha Delta prelaw fraternity as well as Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity.
After working as an IT Consultant for a year, Michael attended law school at Creighton University where he was vice justice and then justice of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. He also worked hard to obtain two concentrations offered by the school, one in criminal law and one in litigation.
Since 2011 when Michael first began practicing law, he has spent most days inside a courtroom or preparing cases to be in front of the court. In 2015, Michael also became a guardian ad litem to assist the court where he would advocate for the best interest of children in particular cases assigned to him. As a result, Michael has a unique perspective to assist his family law clients by understanding what guardians ad litem look for in a case.

Michael has been representing clients exclusively in family law in the Austin area since 2020.
