Jacqueline Watson is not the best choice if you want to fix your immigrant status

Jacqueline Watson is a very unprofessional “attorney”, thanks to her I had to leave the country. Several years ago I went to her for help when she worked for Walker Gates Vela, she made me think that my case was going to be resolved to my benefit, I was applying so I could stay in the country legall...y, so I put all of my effort and money into her, my trust as well. Then it was time to go in front of the judge and present my case, that day was the day, and as Ms Watson had put my hopes up I was sure I was going to be able to stay in the country. But to my surprise not only she didn’t research who the judge was, who turned out to be a judge that specializes in criminal juvenile cases, who is also a really racist judge, or how difficult he could be and how many of my cases came out with a positive outcome in that county, but SHE GOT THERE LIKE 20 MINUTES LATE!!! With her “assistant” Blanca Madriz. She was dressed very unprofessionally if you asked me, the neckline of her blouse was really open and you could see everything! I don’t k own if she didn’t have confidence on her legal abilities that she had to dress like that to convince the judge. Then when she finally got to the court room the judge asked her to approach the bench and told her that she was late and that he was closing my case with a negative outcome, and what was his reason? Because 1 she was late and 2 he didn’t want any more Latinos in the country. We go out of the courtroom and Jacqueline Watson has the nerve to say to me: “ oh yeah we should’ve gone to the other county where hundreds of this petitions get signed daily” IF SHE KNEW THAT why didn’t she tell me that first and why didn’t we go there in the first place? To me they are very unprofessional and do not care about the clients, they also took a bunch of money from me which of course wasn’t refundable. So if you have the option of going to another attorney do it!

Excellent

I've been working with Jacqueline since 2012 when she helped to handle my criminal case that could impact my immigration status. In 2017 she hlped me with Naturalization process. She is able to handle very complicated cases. Highly recommend

Effective, resourceful and detailed oriented lawyer, who gets the job done!

My case was challenging. A few lawyers mishandled it, or simply did not feel prepared to help me any further. Ms. Watson is a highly capable attorney, who does not get shy in front of challenge. She solved a case that included removal proceedings and a complex VAWA case. I feel like my life is in... order today, thanks to her amazing efforts. I recommend her a 100%

Recommendation for immigration filings in Texas

I filed my citizenship paperwork in May and hired Jakie to represent my case. It was such a good experience working with her. She followed up on some of the issues i had with my case, and answered all the questions. i would recommend her to anyone looking for an immigration lawyer.

"I endorse this lawyer. When I first met Jackie I did not know what to think. She is the hardest workiing lawyer in Central Texas. After 35 years in business I have to be careful who I hire as as associate. Jackie decision to work with me comes as I am reaching the pinnacle of my career. Our work together is complimentary. You can not go wrong with her on your team."
