the question has been around forever. the answer is whatever is reasonable. you can file in advance form I-131 to get a re entry permit.

you can fix your husbands paper now. you have to be 21 to petiion for your mom.

if you mom is an lpr and you get married then you lose the right to a green card. wait until your mom becomes a citizen.

you simply send in a copy of the receipt for the visa petition and the divorce petition. that should do the trick.
