From you post - it appears your husband was on probation and a motion to revoke it was filed and in court he pleaded "true" to the violation(s)...

After a criminal case in NYC was dismissed. The DA was able to re-present the case. Would there be another Grand Jury hearing ?

As my colleague posts, as a habitual offender - the sentencing range, is 25 years( minimum) to 99 years.
