Thank You!

The WillieDasher Law Group stood by my side and provided solid legal counsel in a case that was less than straightforward. Specifically, they did not give me false hopes, or promises but helped me resolve my case through mediation to avoid both a costly and emotionally extended trial. Their commun...ications, document preparations and representation succinct, nothing extraneous. Their team knows the law of the land, the tendencies of the opposing counsels, and they work with a highly qualified mediator. Their paralegal offered emotional support in moments when it all seemed too much to carry. The entire experience was both professional and personaI. The outcome, the best that one could expect with a spouse who promised “you will get nothing”. Due to COVID, I worked with both Eric Willie and and Jesus Aguirre remotely. Its strange to get divorced by Zoom, but I did not feel that the virtuality negatively effected my case. I am deeply grateful that they were willing to work with me, and highly recommend that you speak with Eric or Jesus about your case.

Do NOT hire!

There is a saying, “If you want to understand any problem in America, you need to focus on who profits from that problem, not who suffers from that problem.” – Dr. Amos Wilson I will be as clear and concise as I can possibly be, so if you are a father fighting for a fair divorce and child custody, ...do not choose this firm. The attorney's Eric Willie and Jesus Aguirre took my money without any of the work that I asked to be performed nor any evidence of significant work rendered. I/ we invested 5k with this firm and they did not file 1 deposition, hearing, or motion to do anything. Additionally, we were told that 5k was all that was needed for a retainer unless there was any additional services we would want done such as a transcript or the like. They used the majority of my retainer money on calls that I/ we made to them when inquiring about the progress of my case and for $1100 for travel from Hays County to Williamson County. I sought out this firm because they were at the top of the google search engine for family law practices, they were not a referral, I did not know them from any other attorney. My previous attorney did not return phone calls to me as her client nor legal shield as a legal contractor, Legal Shield is the entity I went through to hire her. However, before I hired this law firm, Eric and Jesus informed me that they knew exactly who my previous attorney was and even laughed at her, conveying to me that she was not really a good attorney and hardly ever in the courtroom because the cost of the attorney is what kind of attorney you will get. Eric Willies' specific words were, "You get the kind of attorney that you pay for. We are a little higher than most but if you hire us, we will be aggressive." To be even more specific, Jesus Aguirre, informed us that they were in the courtroom more in a month than she was in a year. Mind you, I've never done all this before, I'm totally green to family law, and I was completely clear about that. Furthermore, I asked about my wife's attorney and they said that he's a big fish in a small pond, but they could easily handle him if I were to hire them on. Both attorneys talked a good game and told me that they'd be willing to fight my case if that is what I wanted, I said sure! Unfortunately, neither fought my case nor kept me/ us updated about what they were doing in the process of my case. The firm did not effectively communicate with me, I did the majority of the calling to the firm, they were always away or busy according to their secretaries. Meanwhile, they kept on stringing me along by telling me that I have to trust them. The Willie Dasher Law Firm not only lied to the 3 of us about the final price of legal representation (asked 3 times before hire), they decided to NOT represent me anymore because I did not want to pay the elevated price beyond what they told us would be final; therefore, they put me in a legal bind in order to extort and exploit me to ensure they could get more money just after my final hearing was set. This was a complete sucker move and an unprofessional one. Not just that, Jesus Aguirre showed up 3 hours late to my first hearing with him, I had never met him in person. Jesus did NOT want to revisit the information that I brought to the judge in reference to my last hearing, my complaint about the judge, nor the items associated. They knew exactly what they were doing. Many of these attorneys work together and I believe that my attorneys were definitely assisting opposing counsel for kickbacks. Family law has made the child support system a very lucrative business for attorneys, judges, and the like just by virtue of needing legal representation at such a critical time, juncture, and a very sensitive area. All clients need legal representation they can trust, this firm is NOT the one! The goal of the legal system is to separate men from help unless you have big money to spend.
