I am writing to recommend Bill Alberts as a family law attorney. I initially worked with Mr. Alberts in 2004 during my divorce. Mr. Alberts mediated my divorce versus going to court. Not only did I get the maximum amount of child support but he negotiated additional money for the children’s expenses.
In 2008, I was taken to court because my former husband wanted full custodianship of my children’s college accounts. There was a risk the money would be used for his personal gain. Mr. Alberts won the case and all funds were awarded to me to manage.
Recently, I had to go to court due to my former husband not paying child support and was trying to have it legally reduced. Mr. Alberts came prepared with specific cases to show my former husband was intentionally underemployed. The judge ruled that he would not amend my decree; written by Mr. Alberts in 2004.
Mr. Alberts is not only an exceptional trial lawyer but provides a calm manner when working with his clients that is reassuring when dealing with the traumatic experience of divorce or family issues that come as a result of it. He is also very ethical in his billing.
Mr. Alberts is not only extremely knowledgeable in his field, he cares.
I highly recommend Bill to anyone in need of legal assistance. My case was so incredibly difficult, overwhelmingly stressful, and full of extremely unusual details...it was a great comfort to have Bill on my side. With his broad depth of knowledge and experience Bill was able to bring my case to a sucessful resolve. Over the many years Bill has continued to work in my defense whenever some new developement crops up.

Client Review
Mr. Alberts handled a complex issue of child custody/adoption between our family and the foster family of our children's sibling. He was excellent at balancing the legal and emotional issues that were involved in this case.
