Unreliable Source, Wastes Time

I hired this lawyer as recommended from other military wives for Family Law. She had a fire in the beginning where she seemed like she meant business. Then, eventually her fuse went out easily. She acts like she’s genuine and cares for you and your family’s safety and concerns. However, she has fail...ed to notify about other parties filing, last minute that almost resulted to me releasing my child over to the other party, who hadn’t signed any agreement. Which could’ve caused a per-long separation from me and my child. She lacked the communication skills to keep me notify of the non-cooperation of the other party which resulted into multiple incidents. As well as disregarding the event in which my child was previously taken by my ex across country with my child being 3 week old infant at the time. She gaslighted the situation and concerns, by implying it wouldn’t happen again. However the event caused me to seek professional help in which I was diagnosed with PTSD from the incident that took place. Her grievances regarding money despite having been provided timely funds. She was either neglectful or absent from working on my case for a example she only filed for separation and a Rule 11 agreement, which I do not recommend if the other party keeps things contentious. At this point I should have obtained temporary orders already if not for her neglect of being unresponsive for over 5 months now in which she just responded after being unreachable just to ask for more funds. If you are a parent just as I am. I would advise you to seek a lawyer that’ll both value your time and case elsewhere. Since the experience in which were provided by Trinh have been nothing but unprofessional, incompetent, and discourteous. Making for a difficult situation more difficult.

Not for contested divorce and custody

I honestly felt like I was robbed. From the very beginning, I was upfront about being low on funds. I explained that coming up with a retainer would be difficult, and she assured me that money wouldn’t be the reason she wouldn’t take my case. She said we'd work together and move forward. Based on tha...t good faith, I hired her. I paid what I could afford as a retainer and shared my case. At first, she seemed engaged and ready to advocate for me. But about two weeks in, everything shifted—suddenly it was all negative. Anytime I made a suggestion or asked questions, I was met with worst-case scenarios or told it was impossible. She didn’t take the time to listen or understand what I was fighting for. In just 60 days, I spent over 10k, Then I got an email saying she needed more money to proceed and that I'm more than welcome to find an attorney that can fit my needs. At that point, it felt like I was being drained without real progress. What started as a promise of help a fellow Veteran turned into a financial nightmare. If you’re going through a family law case—especially involving custody or divorce—I’d recommend finding someone who truly listens and is committed to your case. Unfortunately, I didn’t find that here.

I would run…

If I had all the time in the world I would tell you everything she’s done to me but to put it in a nutshell, Ms. Warner lied to me numerous times and even threatened me that my children would go into the foster care system when I knew that was the furthest thing from the truth. My case was a conteste...d divorce and I was more than capable of taking care of my kids, did not have a criminal history nor did I have a history of abuse but did she listen? No. She lied through her teeth to keep me calm and the day of court she would freak out and tell me lies in order to get me to do what her and her buddy wanted. In the end she left my case without an attorney for absolutely no reason at all. It never closed and she never withdrew but thankfully I found a competent lawyer who took over! I hope whoever is reading this understands that I’m no longer upset but I am trying to warn others that you will regret hiring this woman. She does not care about you nor your case.
