She is a public defender for Colorado Springs. She will not call you, email you or make any effort to contact you at all! She doesn't fight for her clients and doesn't even attempt to put in a counter offer to the DA. I have never had such an incompetent and non caring lawyer in all my life. She does...n't even recognize me at my court dates, I have to remind her of who I am. I understand that she's working for the state and being compensated for her time by tax payers dollars, but if she chose this profession she should make an effort to try and do her job. Everyone I spoke to who has her as their lawyer had the same experiences with her as I have. Maybe she is overloaded with clients, but she does get paid to represent us and therefore it is up to her to get her situation fixed. We shouldn't have to be pressured into taking deals we don't want all because she doesn't do her job. She's an unorganized mess in the courtroom as well. And I mean mess in every sense of the word! She doesn't even brush her hair. She's very young and seemingly clueless, I think she should look into another line of employment. Poor people beware, if you get stuck with her, immediately request new defense or you'll be stuck in a very bad situation.
