Robert “Bob” E. Raesz, Jr. has been practicing law for over 37 years. Upon receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s School of Law, he served as an assistant district attorney in Bastrop County, Texas, from 1983 until 1985. He served as a judge in Bastrop Country, Texas, from 1985 until 1994. During the period he was a judge, Bob presided over and heard all family law cases in Bastrop County, as well as other areas of the law.
Bob has served as a member of the Texas Judicial Ethics Committee, on the Board of Directors for the Texas Center for the Judiciary, as the Vice President of the Texas County Court at Law Judges Association, and on the Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Child Support and Visitation. When Bob elected not to run as a judge again in 1994, he began practicing family law exclusively. He handles uncontested and contested divorce cases, child custody, child support, complex property division, modification, termination and adoption cases in central Texas.
