Before entering private practice he served as a law clerk to the Travis County Criminal Judges, an assistant district attorney for Hale County, and an instructor for the Texas Justice Court Training Center.
Robert is a member of the Austin Bar Association and the Williamson County Bar Association. Outside of the courtroom, he enjoys playing tennis, hiking the Barton Creek Greenbelt, and homebrewing beer.
