Rachel Lynn Messer

I am very grateful to Rachel and Weinman Family Law here in Austin, TX, as I shall explain. I am a broke preschool teacher and got sued earlier this year by my ex-husband over a custody modification for our son. Rachel agreed to be my 'attorney on advisement' for this matter for a very reasonable fee.... I represented myself under her direction and what a wild ride this was. I must say that we had fun with this to some degree, and that I was strangely sorry when opposing counsel filed a nonsuit. I could go on about her accomplishments and book learning', but what I enjoyed most about working with Rachel is her sense of humor. She helped me hold on to mine when I needed it most. She also took me seriously as a pro se respondent, and never doubted that I could handle my part of the case on my own. This was a downright empowering experience, thanks to Rachel. I had the pleasure of having Rachel represent me in a very complex and difficult case. I had many Attorneys help me through this issue, but she was by far the most effective. She is compassionate, competent, ethical and straight to the point Attorney. I hired Rachel to defend my son. He was arrested on two felony charges. Bond was set for $100,000 for each charge. Rachel was able to get the bail reduced to a $20 personal bond. Rachel also got the severity of the charges reduced and closed the case in a six month time frame. I would definitely hir...e her again and I would recommend her to anyone in need of a lawyer.
