Wonderful, committed attorney

Melissa was wonderful to work with! She helped me through a particularly scary divorce and ensured that our decree included numerous measures to keep my son and I safe from my now ex-husband. She has helped me with many issues, big and small, since the divorce regarding co-parenting. I also really... appreciated her help with wording and other things involving communication with my ex-husband.

Confident, Creative, and Realistic!

Ms. Cook was a godsend to my case. She inspired confidence that I needed to make it through one of the most terrifying times in my life. She provided creative solutions that have helped me become a better parent in addition to sound, realistic family legal advise. She put my children first and worked... tirelessly on my case to ensure the best possible outcome.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
