I am a Texas-licensed attorney based in Austin, Texas. My practice focuses on advising clients on complex federal statutes and regulations, including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare"). I also provide legal research and writing services and am available for litigation projects such as brief writing and complex document review.

Prior to starting my own practice, I was a lawyer at Susman Godfrey L.L.P., one of the nation's leading litigation boutique law firms. There, I represented both plaintiffs and defendants -- ranging from smaller businesses to Fortune 500 companies -- in high-stakes commercial litigation in a variety of state and federal jurisdictions. Before entering private law practice, I was a law clerk to the Honorable Karen Nelson Moore on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
