Mr. King is a stellar attorney!! I consulted Jeff when I was made to show cause for false official statement and fraternization and was immediately impressed by him. He came highly recommended by a friend who also trusted and was let down by the system, but Jeff proved she was NOT guilty at a Court... Martial. Jeff is very methodical, professional, thorough, very well spoken and has a presence that is unmatched. He owned the room at my Board of Inquiry with his calm, yet powerful demeanor and I saw how impressed the Board was by him from the start. His military legal experience has WELL prepared him to defend military members. I am a Mustang Naval Officer with a 23 year career that has been nothing less than honorable and I had been wronged by a system I have trusted my entire career. PAY ATTENTION!!!!! I reached out to King because he had good reviews. He literally was the first & only lawyer I reached out to (also the 1st one that popped up..lol) thank GOD! We payed him a consult Fee due to how far he had to travel but ended up not needing to hire him because the case was dismis...sed. What I will say is that he was very easy to communicate with and always responded to my txt and calls. Although he did not represent us I trust and believe that he would have been the BEST choice.

I hired Jeffrey King on short notice, as my case was about to be set for trial, and I am so glad I did! I had been looking for a new attorney for 2 days straight. My previous attorney had not been working in my favor at all and seemed as though he was working more for the Prosecutor on my case than f...or me. Mr. King was very prompt and thorough in responding back to my inquiry, as well as, charging me a fee that wasn't outrageous! I had been charged w/ Failure to Report Child Abuse, a Class B Misdemeanor, out of Kaufman County. My case had been pending for over 2 yrs and I was more than ready to get it handled, but with positive results of course! The State had no evidence what so ever, but still would not budge about dropping my case. I was offered a pretrial diversion program at the time I was seeking new counsel and I was pretty adamant about NOT wanting to take any type of agreement. I wanted to maintain my innocence and to me that agreement would of signified that I was admitting to being guilty of the offense I was being charged with. Mr. King thoroughly explained on more than one occasion, the pro's and con's of taking that sort of agreement. And each time, he always reassured me that he would do whatever I decided. And if that was to take it to trial than he was most definitely ready, since that was originally what I hired him for. I also had a custody case pending, which would of been affected if I took the agreement. So, he was very understanding of that situation and didn't want me to agree to anything that would hurt that case. Unlike my previous attorney, who kept trying to pressure me into taking the pretrial diversion, even after I confronted him with the known consequences that would follow. Needless to say, the Prosecutor ended up dismissing my case 5 days prior to my trial date! That was such a relief and Mr. King definitely helped make that happen! He was extremely honest, understanding and genuinely seemed as though he cared for me and my family throughout the whole process. I always felt more at ease and confident after discussing my case with him. He helped me stay persistent with my decision to take my case to trial (even w/ the known possibilities of a conviction), and not allow the Prosecutor to bully or scare me into agreeing to anything that would not benefit me. I would highly recommend Jeffrey King to anyone! He is definitely the type of attorney you want in your corner, fighting for you when you are up against the legal system. Excellent service and excellent attorney, I hired Jeff King after an intense search. My husband had been accused of a sexual assault and the case had many unusual twists involved. Before deciding to go with Jeff I had met with many other local attorneys of which I felt were reputable, but that my cas...e was just going to handed off to a lower newer, less experienced lawyer that would work and do the case ( as in subcontracted out ). Jeff gave us the feeling he was able, experienced, and ready to fight for my husband. I like his military background and ethics I am sure if I had not went with Jeff the outcome could have been very different . Needless to say we got the NOT GUILTY verdict and I am not so sure it would have turned out that way would we have used someone else or even the public defender. Lawyers have their fees and sometimes you have to sacrifice but what's the alternative, maybe being put away for 10-20 years for something you don't deserve? I know if I ever need him again I won't hesitate to call, or recommend him to anyone. I have never written a review before for anyone but I am just so pleased with Jeff on everything he did and all the hard work he did to defend my husband. He never let my husband take a plea like a lot of lawyers would want you to to make their jobs easier, he fought until the end. He was not only our lawyer but our counselor when things were scary for us. He guided us and helped us get through everything! We will forever be grateful and amazed with his services .
