I went in to his office and met and consulted with him about my charges, and what the process is and what would happen just to help me calm my nerves. After meeting with Jason Rew-Hunt...

"I endorse this lawyer. Jason is an extremely aggressive litigator. He is known in the community as someone who is not afraid to take a case to trial. If you are opposite Jason on a case then you know you are in for a fight."
"Jason is extremelly intellegent and capable. I wouldn't hesitate to refer clients in the Austin area to Jason."
"Jason is an aggressive, intelligent young lawyer. I had the pleasure of working with Jason when he participated in the criminal defense clinic at Texas Tech University. I found his work to be impressive and his drive to learn and succeed equally impressive. Jason worked with me on several areas and provided me very important feedback and research on these areas of criminal defense. As a young lawyer he strives to learn at a rate I don't find that often in attorneys."

After 40 minutes, the jury returned a verdict of "Not Guilty."
Not Guilty
Judge granted motion to suppress evidence of the marijuana. Case dismissed
Motion to suppress was denied at the trial level. However, on appeal, the Third Court of Appeals ruled that the detention of my client was unreasonably extended. This led to the suppression of the evidence and dismissal of the case.
Motion to suppress granted, and case dismissed. The judge ruled that there was no reason for the officer to detain my client for a DWI investigation.
