Well Versed Special Education School Lawyer

Heather has represented our district in several matters regarding Special Education. She is well versed on the numerous and constant changes in Special Education law, but still manages not the make the client feel like she is the expert. She elicits district input at each juncture of the case and do...esn't proceed without clear understanding of what the district would like to see happen in each case. She is also very good at fielded questions off the cuff to in an effort prevent additional due process filings. She can and does provide quality professional development in several areas regarding the special education process. I recommend Heather without hesitation to any district bogged down by due process complaints, but also to any district in need of quality and sound legal advice.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
