David White was the first phone call I made when facing charges for my first time. I called his office on a Sunday, during a holiday weekend (July 3rd) and received a call back that immediately put me a little bit more at ease. After my first meeting with him, I felt that he was as forthcoming, honest, and realistic as an attorney could be. He thoroughly prepared me for everything you can imagine and was direct and concise while explaining his expectations, what mine could be, and how this whole process works. That first meeting, he said something like "best case scenario - which would be a miracle - but best case scenario, we're going to see if we can get a dismissal before you even have to go to court". Two months later, the offer was on the table. Of course there were terms, conditions, requirements, and a lot of work for me - just a few weeks ago, my charges were dismissed. I had no idea where to start, what to expect, and had hit such an ultimate rock bottom when I first made that phone call. The enthusiasm, energy, optimism, understanding, and support that David showed - as well as his availability, even for stupid questions and text messages that I sent all too frequently - made me feel like I was physically taking the weight of the world that I felt on my shoulders and handed over 80% of it. I immediately felt like I found representation that was beyond adequate, beyond fair, beyond reasonable, and worth every penny I had to spend.
Thank you again for all the hard work and for giving me my future/life back without a permanent criminal record. It is impossible to articulate how completely indebted I feel to you for pulling off a complete dismissal.

First, let me start with the staff. They are absolutely the most courteous and professional staff I have dealt with over the last few years. They are always punctual with reminders about court dates and times as well as relaying any information you have for David (he is an attorney and is often in court in the mornings). As far as David is concerned he is lights out as far as an attorney is concerned. He knows the law as it pertains to his area of expertise and if you have questions outside of that for example professional licensing etc. he will not give you the run around and act as if he is an expert in that field. Personal Advice- Be weary of those unwilling to tell you I don't know but I can refer you to an attorney in that realm of the law. David is very down to Earth, easy to deal with, and a straight shooter trough and through. I'm very convinced that I resolved my case with the best possible outcome I could have gotten. No two cases are the same and if you're anything me you don't want a "one size fits all" approach to your case. David will take the time to review your situation, inform you of your options, and meet with the necessary people to resolve your case with your best interest in mind. At a minimum, I would strongly recommend sitting down with David for consultation about your case.

I had the honor of being represented by Mr. White. I'm from San Antonio, and court being in Travis County I wasn't sure how it was going to go. But David talked me through it and was very knowledgeable on the matter and i'm very thankful for what he was able to do for me. He is a great man and I highly recommend him.

If you need a good lawyer, who will actually help you go for David. He was knowledgable of my case, and what would need to happen to get my case dismissed. He got it done too!

David White is a great attorney. I was charged with a class B misdemeanor. David made all of my appearances on my court date. Our goal was to have the charge dismissed. The county attorney offered probation, classes and community service. I informed David I would take their offer, but he refused to give up and he fought for me until the end. The reason I told him I was ready to accept the probation because I did not want to put my family through the court hearing. While I was waiting in the courtroom, David came into the courtroom and told me he had some good news. I thought he was going to tell me he convinced the county attorney to reduce the probation. When he told me he was able to have the charge dismissed, it was a birthday gift and Christmas in one day. Because the charges were dismissed, I do not have pay probation fees over the next 18 months, I do not have pay for classes, and I did not lose certain rights. I would recommend David White to anyone who needs help with a criminal matter.

I have unfortunately been involved with the court and legal proceedings a handful of times so I have experienced my shares of lawyers. David White was the first lawyer who I felt completely understood what I wanted and who set realistic expectations for me to follow.
With his help I was able to dismiss a misdemeanor charge through pretrial classes, community service and no probation with that charge in Travis counties (disclaimer that my results will not necessarily be your results).,
At the same time he was representing me in a Revokation of Probation charge in Williamson County (scary I know!)... With the dismissal of the other charge in hand and with his tenacity and expertise we were able to finish my probation sentence which relieved me of a two year long legal burden.
Throughout the time I hired David he was easy to reach and always responded to my messages immediately. I honestly feel bad that this review took me so long but that's another testament to his work, I was able to move on with my life during and now after the legal process because of the work he did. Oh, his prices were phenomenal too.... To those who are in trouble for the first time, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal.
Go and meet with him and trust that your worries/doubts/questions will all be handled directly by David in both Travis and Williamson counties.

Two years ago I had a feeling I was going to need a criminal lawyer. I called David and put him on retainer and I am so glad I did. A year later I found out there was a warrant for my arrest in a different city for a level 3 felony. I called David and the next day I drove to Austin and went to his office. We went to the court house and I turned myself in but David got everything done before hand so I literally took my picture finger prints and went home on a signature bond. David has gone to court for me for the past year since I live out of town. Yesterday I went to court and got my charges reduced to a Class A Misdemeanor with 16 months probation then dismissed. I dont think anyone would have done what David did for me.

I had the pleasure of being a client of Mr. White's and he made everything so simple for me. He took my Class A misdemeanor charges and laid out everything I would need to do to get the best result. He was extremely professional and knows his way around the courtroom. Between my arrest and court date he was able to formulate a case that made the charges against me seem nearly unfathomable. On my court date they tried to push my case back even further and he, despite having other clients to attend to, returned back to my case and got my charges dismissed that day.

I hired David based on his reviews on avvo.com as being aggressive and I knew that was exactly what I was going to need heading into a civil matter/property dispute. He listened to my needs and concerns, never backed down when we got a ludicrous counter suit, and was exactly the 'take no BS' representation I needed. He got the counter suit dropped entirely and I got all of my belongings back without ever having to appear in court - and even helped negotiate that minute by minute when things went awry for a second. It couldn't have been a better result. I'd hire him in a second if I needed legal counsel again.

I rate David White # 1 and recommend him Highest confidence! David White was a Fabulous choice for the attorney to represent my 20 yr. old daughter when she was charged with this Class C Misdemeanor offense in Austin (caught with using a fake ID). David White was immediately responsive and available to talk to; as well as professional but extremely personable. My daughter was just about to leave the country for a Univ. of Texas studies abroad semester when she got this ticket. He helped with everything, beginning with superior legal advice on how to proceed in taking care of this horrible problem. We hired him immediately and was remarkably satisfied and pleased with every aspect of his representation; and most importantly the positive outcome of my daughter's case. I feel blessed to have found him and can not tell you the relief of pressure and Complete Confidence I had in him, throughout this issue. The cost was reasonable and better than other attorneys I called to consult with before I chose the best! Consult with David first and you will be in good hands.
