His practice focuses on complex litigation, energy and public utility law, intellectual property law, information law, technology law, and civil appeals.

He also holds a Juris Doctor Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, an MBA from Texas Tech University, a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governors University.
Blair is licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of Texas, and he has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eighth Circuits. He is also licensed as an Intermediate Peace Officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
