Mrs. Morris went WAY above and beyond representing me.

Lynne stood beside me and spent many hours over two years representing me in a situation where I was wrongly accused. She believed in me and sought out others who were falsely accused by the plaintiff. She was sharp and always there when I needed to communicate with her. I would strongly suggest h...er representation.

Drops the ball. Definitely not a good attorney.

Tries hard at first but unable to have much follow thru. Not an attorney my family would recommend. Makes out like she knows and understands a case but then lacks confidence. Seems very nervous in front of judge.

This reviewer was not my client. She was dissatisfied with her husband's sentence, which he agreed to.

Withheld Documental Evidence

I hired Lynne Morris to defend me in regards to false accusations of stalking and threatening the Plaintiff. I provided documented evidence clearly proving the Plaintiff 's committed perjury on his affidavit and in court. Morris withheld this evidence, would not show this in court after I asked her 3... times to do so. Morris didn't professionally represent me in court, she belittle and degraded me before the court hearing, during the hearing and after. Morris conduct was unprofessional.

This review is untrue and defamatory. AVVO recommends going offline to resolve negative reviews but as demonstrated below this woman is fixated on me and I deem further contact or communication with her unwise for my own well-being. She came to me after she was served with a stalking protective order pertaining to a minor country music celebrity. She had a court appearance scheduled within a few days and was desperate for help. While she had not been prosecuted criminally for stalking, a lifetime order prohibiting her from a vast array of actions was being sought. The order sought was civil in nature but the man accusing her of stalking was represented by an assistant district attorney. There was no right to have a jury decide the facts. The same judge who granted the emergency order also heard the request for the permanent order; this meant that the judge was familiar with the applicant's affidavit. At the conclusion of the evidence the judge ruled immediately, found that my client had engaged in stalking and granted the applicant's request for a protective order. The order is very harsh order and it is for a lifetime. As I walked out of the courtroom I thought, and still think, that she was done a disservice. But not by me. She procured a pro bono attorney from a very powerful law firm to prosecute her appeal. I spoke with that attorney several times and helped in any way I could with the appeal. This included a review of the transcript of the proceeding. The appeal was denied with a written opinion. There was no criticism of my representation by the appellate court. After the appellate court ruling she filed a grievance against me. The State Bar determined that my conduct was not actionable, and indeed did not rise to the level of investigation. She appealed that decision and the outcome was the same. She then filed a negative review on here that I disputed because it made no sense and from the information contained therein I could not verify that it was from an actual client. It was removed and she posted this one. There is a vast difference between being unhappy with the result of a judicial proceeding against you and receiving bad representation during the proceeding.

Outstanding representation!

Lynne Berry Morris defended me in a DUI arrest and trial. It appeared that the prosecution had an air-tight case against me, but that was wrong. Lynne fought like a bulldog against the prosecution, their witnesses and evidence they brought. She also recommended expert witnesses for my defense which ...I hired. The result was a hung jury in my favor. I can't thank her enough!

A lawyer that WILL help

Mrs. Morris represented me on a case a few years ago and I was extremely pleased on how well she handled my case. Not only did she tell me step by step what was happening when I didn't understand, she always had a positive attitude about my cases outcome. My case was dropped but throughout the whole ...case as nervous as I was, she kept my head held high and I made it through. Thank you Mrs Morris for all your help.
