I hired this lawyer to help me with my case. I sent him all the info about my situation, along with e mails and phone explanations. He rarely answered me. While in jail, he rarely came to see me or answer phone calls. Even though I had paid in full. When in court, he wouldn't say anything against the... DA, even when this DA lied to the judge. He actually tried to defend what the prosecutor said instead of calling him out on it. This lawyer takes on so many clients that he cannot keep up with any of them. This causes him to not fully investigate the case. I really feel that I was not given the full attention to the details of my case by this man. His only concern was getting our money. We had to hire another law firm, at great expense. Matt was given explicit instructions to hand over all my info, yet he did not. This put me in a position of having to take an unwanted plea deal. It was either that, or spend a lot of time in jail waiting for trial. Matt did nothing that he said he would do. All he did was take our 15,000 with no explanations or refund. I do not recommend him.
