Back in the day when I was young and dumb, I made mistakes. Patricia represented me and helped me to continue my life. Patricia represented my brother in a criminal trial in Williamson county. She is very informed, kind and respectful however she isnt a great defense attorney to say the least. I feel Attorneys should be advocates for their clients while informing them of all options. My brother was sentenced to 25 y...ears at 19 yeas old. We feel ms. Cummings didn't instruct us in detail that taking a plea deal would mean he couldn't appeal his case. we are hardworking immigrants with little legal education and unfortunately our attorney in my opinion did not fully inform us of the consequences. I'm not a defense attorney however after educating myself a bit I've realized this case was completely set on hearsay testimony with no other witnesses or physical evidence. There were several other young men who fit my brothers description there as well and these young men were not presented to the child or jury. I mean why not have the child look at pics of all the men that were in and out of that house? Please do your research before hiring an attorney.
