Biography
James attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, graduating in 2002, and was admitted to the Texas State Bar in 2003. Since then, James has represented individuals, small businesses, and municipalities throughout Central Texas.
James also serves as an assistant city attorney three cities in Central Texas providing advice in many areas and facets of municipal law and serving as a prosecutor in municipal courts prosecuting Class C misdemeanors and city ordinance violations.
In James' private law practice, he has also advised clients in business litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, probate matters, construction litigation, real estate, and in collection matters. James has represented and counseled clients in civil litigation involving: construction defects, mechanic's liens, and deceptive trade practice claims, eminent domain litigation, real estate litigation, and contract disputes.
