I have been practicing criminal law since before I even graduated law school.  I was allowed to prosecute cases with a "baby bar card," and was instantly hooked on criminal trials.  I started my career as a prosecutor, but quickly realized that I was out for justice - as opposed to notches on my gun belt, so to speak.  Getting convictions is easy.  Getting dismissals and not guilty verdicts is a LOT more difficult.  I get so much satsifaction from helping people get justice.  This includes helping people from the moment they learn that they are the target of a criminal investigation.  Stopping things before they even get started is the best option for clients.  For those charged, then a hard look at the State's evidence and any possible mitigating factors absolutely must be done.  I approach every case from every possible angle for the best outcome.
