About Norma
Biography
I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, as south as south goes in Texas. I always knew I would dedicate my professional career to serving the wonderful immigrant community here. That is why in 2011 I opened my law firm right on the border, where I can have the greatest impact in defending immigrants facing detention, deportation and loss of status due to criminal charges. I'm proud to say that my entire staff is committed to the mission of seeking justice for this vulnerable group of people.
I received my JD from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2010 and am licensed to practice law in Texas and in the Southern District Court of Texas. I'm a proud member of AILA as well as their EOIR liaison.
When I'm not at work, I spend time with my husband, my two beautiful sons, and my parents.
