Georginna Del Valle

Georginna Del Valle, an associate attorney with the Begum Law Group, began her career in elementary education.  During this time, she was able to express her love for children by devoting her energies to teaching third grade students at the El Jardin Elementary School.  Though she loved the opportunity to work with young children, her lifelong dream, born of a desire to help both children and adults, was to become a lawyer.

Ms. Del Valle began her education at the University of Texas – Brownsville.  She completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas – San Antonio. Ultimately, she realized her dream when she completed her study of law and received her JD from the University of Houston Law Center in 2008. Following graduation, Ms. Del Valle joined the Begum Law Group in November of 2008.

Ms. Del Valle’s love of law and helping the vulnerable has not diminished in the least. She puts her career to good use by assisting those that otherwise might not get the true justice they need and deserve. When asked about how becoming a lawyer has affected her, Ms. Del Valle says “since law school, I have worked in law firms that handle civil litigation and it never ceases to amaze me how helpless injured people are and how much of a difference we can make in their lives with just a little effort on our part.  It is very humbling.” Her words not only express truth but the depth of her character as well.

Georginna’s roots are in Brownsville, Texas where she grew up. She was a former Court Appointed Child Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children as well as a volunteer ESL teacher for the Brownsville Adult Advocacy Center. She plans to continue as a volunteer in the community she loves.

Ms. Del Valle absolutely loves music. In addition to a busy career in law, she intends to continue spending time as a volunteer and is very active in her church. Brownsville retains her roots, her heart and continues to be her home.
