Defense of general liability claims from motor vehicle accident; trucking; passenger bus cases; premise cases; and OSHA work site industrial accidents.
Construction defect defense of general contractors and subcontractor trade specialties.
27 years
I was born and raised in South Texas and have been practicing no nonsense legal defense of clients and insurers for over 17 years. I come from a hard working blue collar family that built a business from the ground up and know the strength that comes from a business, sweat in building it and protecting it.
I began my practice as a prosecutor for the Cameron County District Attorney's Office for 3 years and was trying cases to jury verdict a week after licensing. I left the District Attorney's office having tried a capital murder case and as a felony first chair prosecutor. My win record was over 85%. I still actively try cases and at least one a year.
I provide clients a good solid legal defense in tough venues where I am from and was raised. I handle high risk exposure cases on the defense side and am not afraid to go to trial should a case not settle. I give honest straightforward legal advice, am accessible and do not tell clients what they want to hear.
I do not like to lose and find sincerity and humbleness before a jury of your peers goes a long way in winning cases. While each case should settle, unreasonable positions have to be reconciled before a jury.
I am available to assist you and your insureds in my general liability defense practice.
