Jaime Cavazos

A lifelong resident of the Rio Grande Valley, Jaime Cavazos, is honored to join his son’s law firm, The Christopher P. Cavazos Law Firm, in protecting the rights of Rio Grande Valley residents. Jaime Cavazos brings over 30 years of management experience and applies a business approach to the practice of law. Jaime works with honesty and integrity in striving to provide his clients a stress-free environment and experience.

Jaime is a strong advocate for his clients and takes the time to get to know them and understand what is important to them. He offers practical, solution-oriented legal advice to guide his clients through difficult legal issues. He works with his clients to explore their options to obtain the best outcome to meet their individual needs.

Jaime Cavazos graduated from Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas, earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Brownsville, and is a graduate of Weslaco High School. Jaime has consistently been involved outside the courtroom, serving as Board president of Communities in Schools of Cameron County as well as Board president of the Public Utilities Board Consumer Advisory Panel. His areas of practice include personal injury, family law, criminal defense, breaches of contract, and business litigation. As a dedicated attorney, Jaime also works with families to recover loss after catastrophic damage to their homes caused by storms.
