Biography
Donald Malagon was born in McAllen, Texas. After graduating high school, Mr. Malagon served in the US Marines for 11 years, from 1996 through 2008. After being honorably discharged from the Marines, Mr. Malagon graduated with honors, Cum Laude, from Pan American University in 2010 with his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. After graduation, Mr. Malagon was a Juvenile Probation officer for the County of Hidalgo from 2011 through 2013. Mr. Malagon went on to graduate with honors, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2016 with his Juris Doctor degree and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in November 2016. While in law school, he clerked for the two small law firms around the Houston, Texas area which specialized in personal injury, immigration, and family law. After admission to the Texas Bar in November 2016, Mr. Malagon practiced Family, Probate and Estate Planning and Busincess/Commercial law with a Houston based law firm. Mr. Malagon is a current member of the Texas Bar College and is in private practice in McAllen, Texas where he continues to practice law exclusively in the fields of Family, Probate and Estate Planning and Business/Commercial law.
