Horrible Attorney

Run! Run! Runaway from this attorney. We hired this attorney to handle my mother’s estate. We wasted two years of him doing absolutely nothing at all. This man was rude and would not return phone calls. We finally got a court date , but the judge had to cancel because this idiot did not file the prop...er paperwork.

Dont Hire Him If You Wanna Be Given The Run Around.

I Hired Mr. Reyes For My Divorce With Children. I Paid Him In Full 2,500 And, Basically Had To Do The Work Myself. At Meditation He Didnt Really Argue Much My Ex-Husband Had Been Arrested For Something Major Yet, They Still Granted Him Unsupervised Visitation Of My Children. Im A Single Mom With No B...ackground History And, Here I Am With A lot Of Questions I Will Never Have Answers For. It's Been Over A Year He Has Failed To Complete My QDRO And, Hand Back Over Documents I Provided To Him When I First Hired Him. I Feel Like Im Stuck. All Because He Fails To Respond And, Receptionist Still Continues To Give Me The Run Around. I Even Text His Personal Phone And, Not Even A Text Back Or Phone Call. I Guess I Will Be Calling The State Bar

DO NOT GO TO THIS ATTORNEY!!!!! YOU WILL GET SCREWED OVER

let me start off by saying i though i was the only one who got screwed over by this man. I hired him to represent me in a family custody case, paid him $3500.00. CALLED HIM FOR ALMOST 3 MONTHS and was only able to speak to his assistant. I was not informed about 2 very important court dates because H...E FORGOT TO TELL ME and finally received a call from him one day HE TRIED TO COVER HIS mistake and called me the day of, and told me my X had filed for emergency temp orders, and was getting "temp" custody of my 3 children and called me hysterical telling me if his assistant can sign on my behalf because they needed a signature right then and there, i was scared and freaking out, so i allowed him to do what he needed to do. Come to find out, i did my research and spoke to other attorneys and find out that Mr. Reyes was suppose to have been in court with me that day and the previous court date leading up to that one day, and I was counted NO SHOW WHICH, the Judge will only allow 3 court hearings before giving the other parent what they are requesting if the other parent does not show. and of course since he didnt go or tell me about the two very important court hearings, i was not there and the judge granted my x what he was requesting. I have been dealing with my custody case already 2 1/2 years and i would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS MAN TO ANYONE, NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! I am a single mother, and the state of TX is always in favor of the mother, but because this man screwed me over and allowed my x to have that upper hand, it has been hell since then to get my children back in my care as primary BECAUSE I Trusted a liar, and coward. TONY REYES YOU REALLY DO SUCK AS AN ATTORNEY

Texas state bar ruled in my favor

Identical Story as above. I went to state bar with evidence! Just got the notice judgment ruled in my favor on my case! If you went through same thing you should follow through with State Bar! Took a couple years but finally I was right about him! I'm gonna keep checking the website to see if they up...date his status! And I'm gonna get my money back plus damages!

  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
