Jon R. Disrud

Jon handled my divorce which included issues with a child out of state. This was a somewhat complex case as it was an issue where certain aspects started while I was out of state (Texas resident but assigned/military outside Texas and then came back to Texas to finish divorce). Jon did a great job ...managing not only our side but also moving the other side along as it delayed and attempted to bring issues that were not warranted. None of this is easy or fast (the easy shouldn't be but I think everyone wishes the fast in court/legal was) because it involves a lot of emotions and two potentially differing opinions. I would highly recommend Jon to any person that sadly must go through a divorce.

I am shocked that Mr. Disrud would be given such a horrible review by the previous person; he has always been a good attorney for me. I used him for my divorce, child support etc. and never had a problem with him. I can't understand why the prior review would even state that he was "asleep" during ...the court hearing. First of all the Judge will not let you sleep in court; hello!!!! Don't be mad because you did not get your way; accept what the law is and move on.
