When I was looking for a lawyer to replace a particularly awful one I had, I reached out to various community forums on the internet to get recommendations and advice from people who had experience with hiring lawyers in the area. Almost every comment said something along the lines of "Don't hire (na...me), he/she was awful" or "I hated working with (name), he/she didn't do anything to help me with my case". Just about every lawyer in San Antonio was being bashed and complained about (in very colorful, descriptive language!) on that forum. I appreciated the fact that he took the time to come up with multiple solutions to any problems that arose and made recommendations that were truly centered around the best interest of me and my child. His prices were very affordable, especially for somebody with so much experience and expertise in his field. And his calm, collected demeanor took the stress out of dealing with the court system.
