Kenneth Ernest Grubbs

Attorney Kenneth Grubbs is the best...definitely knows Real Estate Law. I had already lost my home to my ex-wife due to her and her lawyer presenting false evidence to a court. I literally had to vacate my house and move out. I had gone for legal advice from other lawyers before exiting my home, all... four advised that I more than likely did not stand a chance of getting it back. About a month later I still felt cheated out of my home so I prayed to God and prayed some more. Next day I opened Google searching for Real Estate Attorneys, first one I see is Mr Kenneth Grubbs. I was given a appointment date and time to go go for a free consultation. I was so impressed with what this man explained to me, that I thanked God that this top notch Attorney and another Attorney that assisted him took my case and in no time at all, he found what other ATTORNEYS did NOT and today, I am back in my home. This Attorney is Super Intellectual, I highly recommend him and I will not lose his and the other Attorney that assisted contacts information. Thank you Mr Grubbs for getting me my house back, God bless you Sir!!

I have in the past received poor service but never have I ever felt the need to write a review. I feel so strongly about my experience with this attorney that I am taking the time to write this review. I cringe at even having to give one star. I can't help but notice all of Grubbs high ratings a...re from 2017 and 2018. This attorney and his office staff are the most unprofessional people I have ever delt with. I thought our biggest hurdle would be getting the opposing counsel to respond, boy was I wrong. Grubbs and his office staff are horribly slow which I feel strongly comprised our case. The only time action was taken on our case was because I would call the office and ask that they work what has been sitting on their desk for weeks. When they would act, opposing counsel would respond more timely than Grubbs would. I was once told that they had to advise all their clients about their new policy; if clients call for a status update on their cases they were going to start getting charged because they couldn't keep answering the phone for status updates. The fact that so many clients have to call for a status should indicate a problem with the attorney and his staff. It took over 3 weeks to resolve an issue with an incorrect billing (lack of response again on their part) and was only resolved after a very unprofessional conversation with Grubbs himself. All they/he had to do was look at the invoice and see there was a mistake on their part. I could provide many instances of unprofessionalism by him and his staff but I think Grubbs calling someone on one of these reviews a "coward" speaks for itself. He also omitted things we had asked him to include in a counteroffer because he hurriedly sent his response after a call from me. He also sent, while I was on the phone with him an email to opposing counsel that was also unprofessional and inarticulate because I again called him and asked him to respond to opposing counsel. I've had to resend him email that he apparently never looked at after over 5 weeks. He is seldom available because he is always "preparing for court" according to his staff. One time I even requested a meeting with him at our expense because we could not get him to respond, his staff conveyed to us that he said "there is no reason to meet, either file suit or accept their offer" with no opportunities to ask questions. He told us in our consult that we will get an invoice but we do not need to pay it because he will include his fees in what he requests from opposing counsel but he refused to send a letter to opposing counsel until we paid the invoice (the invoice that was incorrect). Best thing we ever did was to stop using him as an attorney. Once we removed him, he was no longer an obstacle between us and opposing counsel. We have made more progress in the 3 weeks since we have stopped working with Grubbs than in the 11 months since Grubbs was retained.

It took a long time, but I have learned that a fancy downtown office on a penthouse floor does not automatically equal a good lawyer. Nor does a paid-for ad for “Best Lawyer”. In fact, all those trimmings may mean a lawyer who is adept at billing. Kenneth Grubbs is an exceptional lawyer who I would r...ecommend without hesitation. He is honest, reliable and professional. He is intelligent, knowledgeable well-informed and his no nonsense approach gave me peace of mind and confidence that I could trust that my best interest would be protected and that I could expect the best possible outcome. Mr. Grubbs and his law firm, is our go to in our time of legal need! Kenneth is a rare find, he has a heart for his clients and what’s in their best interest. His office quickly returned my phone calls, kept me well informed and addressed every question or concern I had with honest, straightforward answers. With dedication and hard work, Mr. Grubbs provided excellent results that far exceeded my expectations. I made a HUGE mistake in not calling Kenneth Grubbs immediately years ago when I needed an attorney STAT, a mistake I paid for dearly by losing a preliminary ruling and way over paying another local attorney. The minute he came on, the game changed, and for the better. I felt a confidence that the case was being taken care of without having to micro-manage. Kenneth was the legal bulldog you want when you need one. He was able to get a TRO for me so that we could have peace of mind till he as able to get my case settled. The settlement was way more than I had ever expected. He has become my "Go-To Lawyer" for myself, my family and company. Since that case he handled all of my legal matters. He has me as a client for life, which may ultimately drive him crazy because I never hesitate to refer him to anyone who needs a solid, seasoned attorney. Finding a good attorney is really an art, and this guy is the best in town.
