Jacob Ryan Alford

Jacob Alford is a San Antonio native and a Texas trial attorney. He has successfully resolved hundreds of cases in favor of injured Texans, and tried numerous cases to jury verdict. He has handled motorcycle accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, bus accidents, train accidents, bicycle accidents, auto-pedestrian accidents, auto accidents, drowning accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, dog bite attacks, workplace accidents, refinery accidents, plant explosions, and wrongful death tragedies.

Jacob is a proud member of Christian Trial Lawyers, Houston Trial Lawyers, The State Bar of Texas, The Litigation Section of the Texas State Bar, and The Insurance Law Section of the Texas State Bar. Jacob has worked in San Antonio for United States District Court Judge Xavier Rodriguez, in Austin for a prestigious commercial litigation firm, in New Mexico for a large defense firm, and in Houston for a large personal injury firm. 

Jacob left Houston to marry and start a family with his wife, Cassie, in his hometown of San Antonio. The two were married in downtown San Antonio, near South Flores Street, and one week later, Alford Law PLLC opened its doors.

Jacob formed Alford Law PLLC with a resolve to provide compassionate, smart, and aggressive representation to Texans injured as the result of another’s negligence. Jacob is proud to stand up in court for injured Texans. He often spends his nights and weekends in the office getting ahead of big insurance companies and their defense attorneys. He believes that everyone, rich or poor, is entitled to quality representation and that every case, big or small, should receive a lawyer's level best.

Jacob received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law.  In law school, he won Senior Mock Trial Champion, was elected as Mock Trial Director, and was inducted into The Order of Barristers, which recognizes the  top-10 advocates from a graduating class ofys. 

Jacob spends most of his free time in the outdoors or completing various projects that his wife Cassie, an interior designer, assigns to him. Jacob and Cassie are active members of various community organizations in the San Antonio area. Jacob is also a member of Mensa, Toastmasters, and the Texas Motorcycle Riders Association.
