Receiving his license from the Supreme Court of Texas in 1980, he has since been practicing general civil law, concentrating in family, divorce and child custody cases. Mediating through the Courts of Bexar County, Texas since 1988, and in October 1993, he became a certified mediator, and since has continued to serve the Courts of Bexar County, Texas, and hired by local attorneys for their clients' cases. From 1994 to 2000, he served on the State Bar of Texas District 10A Grievance Committee, elected Chair in 1999-2000.
