I am a grandparent an used Attorney Kirkwood. There were 3 other parties involved in the case. He outperformed all parties involved. A successful outcome is an understatement. Not only did I get custody, I got child support. Supervised visitation was granted. He is an excellent litigator and a sincer...ely concerned individual. His prices were reasonable. If I ever needed a family lawyer I would definitely hire him again.

I met Mr. Kirkwood at the courthouse while I was there investigating where the paperwork was for my divorce that I paid Attorney Dean Greer for. I paid for and signed paperwork in front of the judge and Dean Greer never produced a divorce decree. Initially Mr. Kirkwood thought I was an attorney and... I told him I wasn't and asked if he was one. I inquired about how long it usually takes to get the decree after signing in front of a judge. He replied that he couldn't advise me because I already had an attorney. Because I never got a decree from Dean Greer I fired him and hired Mr. Kirkwood. I had my divorce decree in no time, and am ever grateful for Mr. Kirkwood's swift service. Unlike what I experienced with Dean Greer-going back and forth to court for such an easy divorce (no assets or child custody issues involved), my divorce was smooth and uneventful! I have since referred Mr. Kirkwood to at least six (6) different clients seeking a divorce each one has called and thanked me for referring them to him. Kudos to Mr. Kirkwood for his excellent work.

Mr. Kirkwood understands well and navigates efficiently the complexities intricate with a CPS case. He understands the law and has experience with many of the case workers, lawyers and judges. Mr. Kirkwood guided us to quickly undertake actions to help us in our case even though I did not understan...d the bigger picture. His advise was accurate and to the point and by following it our case had a successful outcome. He later explained his strategy in more detail when the situation was not as urgent. Mr. Kirkwood did have a tendency to underestimate the cost in our particular case, but within reason, as some complications did arise. We will hire Mr. Kirkwood again if the need arises. We had heard from some case workers that Mr. Kirkwood was tough but that he would be the person that they would personally hire and not want to up against in court. We observed how well he interacted with opposing counsel and with all members of the court. His demeanor and knowledge worked in our favor.

My son was placed in foster care from the time of birth and was appointed a court appointed Lawyer after 17 months I seeked out to find a Lawyer. You never know what to believe.
