Mr. Ortiz helped me to gain primary custodial parent status of my then 8-month-old son to protect him from the child's mother, as she had turned to the use of drugs. He was very professional in explaining the process that would take place in moving forward. He consulted me as to what was entailed if ...he was successful in obtaining this custody, even asking me if I had a plan and a support team in helping raise the child. What sold me on him was the concern on his part for the welfare of the child and me. I remember hearing my dad use a phrase many years ago, "that people don't care what you know until they know that you care." He explained the cost of his work, and he was very reasonable in comparison to some other attorneys that I had contacted. The court date came around, and as he had educated me on the process, everything went as he said. Recommend him highly.

Mr. Ortiz may hurt some tender hearted people's feelings, but he sure knows how to stand up in court and tell it like it is to the prosecutors and even the judge. I had a felony case in Williamson County, Texas (one of the worst counties in Texas for criminal charges). He got my case reduced to a m...isdemeanor within just a couple of court dates. I recommend him highly. If you need a bunch of hand-holding and reassurance, he is not the attorney for you. But if you want someone who tell it like it is and get the job done, he is your man.

We hired Mr. Ortiz because he seemed knowledgeable he' s a fast talker and aggressive. However, he took our money and didnt complete his job. My husband paid him and he didn't finalize our papper eork.I called him on my husbands behalf and I asked isnt finalizing the papper work completing the job ?..... He was very rude and said ,he wanted to talk to my hudband. He hung up on me. Very unprofessional. While at work, my husband called and he wouldnt answer his calls. Its unfortunate that he is even an attorney...
