Amanda Jayne Sorem Batsche

Amanda empowers families and individuals by developing customized estate plans to protect their loved ones in the event of what can be the unexpected, death or incapacity. Depending on the goals of each client, she advises and drafts documents such as powers of attorney, wills and trusts. Amanda also has the privilege to guide families though the probate and guardianship processes. Practicing in the areas of intestate, probate, contested guardianship, estate matters, and uncontested matters, Amanda advises clients to navigate through the unfamiliar waters of the legal system by walking with them through the entire process.

Often times Amanda is asked why she chose to practice estate planning. As as a young military wife life was thrown in to perspective rather quickly for her and her husband as they quickly had to deal with the harsh reality of deployments. They had to have essential documents set into place in the event something happened to him. Fortunately, her husband came home safe and was honorably discharged in 2010.

After moving to San Antonio in 2010, Amanda and her husband Jeremy fell in love with the city, the people, and the vibrant culture. Amanda is always looking for ways to be involved, and to help small business and families thrive. She is a travel enthusiast and self-proclaimed foodie. You can often find Amanda and her husband at events in the downtown and urban community, watching college football, enjoying the outdoors or packing for road trips with their pups.
